Section 23
Other Funding Arrangements

(1) There will be a disaster management fund at each province, district and local level for disaster management.
(2) The Provincial Disaster Management Executive Committee may carry out the work related to disaster management through the District Disaster Management Committee and for that purpose, the necessary funds from the Provincial Disaster Management Fund as per sub-section (1) shall be provided to the District Disaster Management Fund.
(3) The funds in the provincial disaster management fund and local disaster management fund as per sub-section (1) and the arrangements related to the operation of such funds shall be as prescribed in the rules made by the respective provinces and local levels.
